SOLD Nothings Wrong for me had 2 goals I wanted to achieve. I wanted to portray the world as it was in late 2019, which was incredibly taxing on the human spirit. How little did I know what 2020 would bring. I wanted to reflect the need to sometimes block it all out, exist in our own head and our own head alone. I also had at that time recently discovered Canadian Realism Painter Mary Pratt who loved to capture the everyday things in her life including items in her kitchen, like Tinfoil. The use of Tinfoil as my “blocking device” is a direct homage to Mary.
